Hi, I’m Rachel and this is my blog.

I have this kid, Bug. He’s three. He likes the Indigo Girls, the question “Why?”, and afternoon snacks in pink bowls. He dislikes lettuce, cars parked on grass, and pooping in the potty. “Yestertime” is a word he made up. He uses it to refer to any time in the past, like “Hey Mama, remember when you fell down yestertime? That was ridiculous.” He is undoubtedly a genius.

I also have a husband, Lorso. He’s tall. He likes me and Bug and a good conversation. He dislikes common sensical approaches to situations and mint chocolate. He’s a good guy. You should meet him.

I used to be in medical school. I worked really hard to get there. Then I left. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

But now I have more time to look up and see what’s going on around me in the world. So I’m using this blog as a creative outlet to tell you all about it.

Because life is funny.
