Weekend Still Shots: Evolution of a home

I’ve been doing Weekend Still Shots since January 23rd of last year, which by my reckoning means I’ve taken over 70 pictures of our house. (In the beginning, I did two per weekend.) Whoa.

My Flickr set is—as I’ve changed the end of my recent posts to say—woefully in need of an update, as it only has 28 photos in it. This will be remedied soon.

In the meantime, I decided to pull out some of the first WSS shots and take a picture in the same position to see how the space had changed in just over a year. Sometimes most of the picture looked different. Sometimes it was only a subtle change. Either way, it makes me glad I started this project, and it makes me want to keep going.

*I need some ideas for what to put on that shelf. Although Rosie might fit, now that I think about it.

(I’ll update with more of these in a few weeks.)
