Thoughts on a purchased vehicle
Thing the First: OMG NEW (to us) CAR WE FINALLY GOT ONE OMG.
2.) Unless the sun is somehow impeding my ability to see and therefore drive or is burning the top of my head to the point of singeing my hair (there must be actual smoke), the sunroof inside cover remains open at all times, and all the way open if temperature and precipitation permits. This is non-negotiable and any attempt to close it will be seen as an act of aggression and is subject to ridicule and/or noogies. C. I don’t feel fancy enough for this car yet. But hang on a minute, I’m working on it. My first plan is to shower more. L’s was to go on a business trip. We are adults! With klass class!
IV. I am abysmally terrible at using a rear back up camera. Also, it makes me think of The Blair Witch. I can’t look at it for more than three seconds at a time.
Addendum five: Huh. So this is what it’s like to feel like the combination of your job and your kid-schlepping duties is actually manageable. Awesome.*
*Except for the part where L got assigned to a case in Boston that required him to fly out of town the first day that we were a two-car commuting family. Ha ha! That’s a good one Universe! Blerrrrrghhhh …

We got a Pilot too (about 3 months ago) and LOVE it. Our first new car in over 15 years. I am with you on the back up camera – I think it’s a cool feature, but I am unable to use it. It’s almost like I don’t trust it or something. Enjoy!
It’s so PRETTY!
Once I got the back up camera figured out I can’t remember how I ever got along without it!
