The WINNER (bona fide and verified)

Good morning from Tampa, Florida, where palm trees line the streets and space shuttles streak through the morning skies. I saw my first launch this morning, and by golly if that wasn’t one of the coolest things I’ve ever witnessed. And all we had to do was walk to the end of the block to see it. I may have said it before, but I highly recommend acquiring Florida-resident in-laws.

Today’s t-shirt winner was chosen randomly by http://www.random.org/ in the wee morning hours, and was verified by two highly reputable judges of fairness:

Rosie verifier 1Rosie verifier 2Rosie verifier 3Rosie verifier 4

Noah verifier

And because it was totally random, which excuses me from all suspicion of unfair preferential treatment, I am very happy to say that the winner of the two free shirts is one of my favorite people of all time, Commenter #25 RACHEL D!

Hooray for pants-optional, Brie-smack-talking, punctuation-partial Rachel D, and for EVERYONE who participated in the giveaway! I will definitely do more of these, now that I see how much fun it is, and now that I also see how it delurks so many of you Lurky Mclurkersons.

For real, lurker or not, I appreciate every single person who intentionally (or perhaps unintentionally) puts their eyeballs on this site, and I’m really happy to be able to give a little gift as a small token of thanks.  I hope you keep coming back, even when all I have to give is just a healthy dose of sarcasm and some CAPS LOCK for the taking.

Have a happy Monday!

If family can’t win then next time I’ll make up a name for the lucky random pick – unless in the meantime I win the Publishers Sweepstakes – then I won’t bother. Congrats, Rachel D!
