NOMMIN’ it up like a champ

Sunday we started solid food with Rosie, and you would think she’d already been eating for YEARS the way she opened right up for that rice cereal paste and gulped it down as if it were chocolate covered chocolate in chocolate sauce.  It made me really excited about that life changing day in the future when I get to introduce her to THE BURRITO.

Gettin’ her NOM on

Can I claim first dibs on treating you and yours to burrito bliss @ Raging?

If we can’t, I’m afraid I won’t meet Rosie till my son takes her to prom.

was the first-solid-food event directly a result of the lead-boob incident?

No, not a direct result, we had been planning to start around six months or so, and she’s a big baby, so we thought she was ready. But the decreased milk output definitely made me glad she was at the point where we could start!

Allen, if you ever say the words “treat you” and “burrito” in the same sentence, the answer is always a loud resounding YES MA’AM. (Srsly.)

Also, cute bib courtesy of my college roommate, who has an uncanny knack for finding gifts that make me happy.
