So much time and so little to do! Wait a minute. Strike that. Reverse it.

This is going to be a hard week for blogging. We leave for a week long vacation on Sunday, the day after Lorso is GRAJAMATATING from seminary. Huzzah! It matters not one bit to me that he is not going to use the degree, because he finished it. And that my friends, is cause for celebration.

And so we’re having a party on Saturday, too. Also, as you saw yesterday, we just painted our dining room, so the house is in total disarray. And when you are gestating, you tend to want everything around you to be pretty and nice like in a magazine (ok, if you’re me, this is kind of true all the time, but it’s like TIMES A MILLION when I’m pregnant) so I’m trying to hang pictures and arrange furniture and whatnot every second of the day. And this is my last week of work, so there are things to wrap up there, and yada yada yada, you get the drift.

So. Try my best I will, but cut me some slack this week, is all I’m asking. Like right now when I don’t post pictures of our new RED dining room or talk about what the gender of our baby is based on the validity of the comments posted on Thursday. Tomorrow! I promise!

So I will leave you by saying “Happy Smother’s Day!” which is what Bug said to me this morning when he woke me up.

Also I will leave you with a trivia question: what movie is my post title from?*

*Members of my family excluded from answering. YES, THAT MEANS YOU, SIBLINGS.

I’m not going to ruin the quiz; I’ll just say “A little nonsense, now and then, is relished by the wisest men.”

Oh, and Happy Mother’s Day and Congratulations to Lorso!! God has plans for us all, and just because he may not be using them in the conventional sense, I’m sure that he will use the skills he learned in Seminary in whatever he does.

“The suspense is terrible . . . I hope it lasts!”

“Now remember, no messing about. No touching, no tasting, no telling.” So we won’t tell! :)

are you kidding me? that is one of sera’s favorite movies. and that would be the original willy wonka and the chocolate factory.

I was totally going to comment (for the first time, mind you) saying that I was diggin’ the Gene Wilder Wonka reference. And then you straight up asked me to. And my initial reaction was, “well now I don’t want to,” because I’m a little bit crazy.

Good to see you at the shindig today!

In springtime, the only pretty ring time
Birds sing, hey ding
A-ding, a-ding
Sweet lovers love the spring

It’s my favorite movie of all time.

“You stole fizzy lifting drinks. You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized so you get nothing. GOOD DAY, SIR!”
