I promise I do more than just watch TV

Last night I watched White Christmas for the first time. I probably had seen various scenes of it before, but I remembered very little about what the plot actually was. And now, I think I’m good. I watched it, I can reference it, I have the requisite cultural knowledge of it, but I don’t really think it will become a Christmas tradition.

There are probably several reasons I feel this way, but the main one really, is that Vera Ellen’s waist size FREAKS ME OUT. It is impossibly small, to the point that the former anatomy student part of me is imagining her innards all squished and shifted around into unnatural positions.

And honestly, squished innards don’t put me in the Christmas mood all that much.

you will have to take this up with ashley and his family. they. love. this. movie. I had never seen it before we got married, and ashley quickly showed it to me before his family learned my shameful secret.

that said, her waist is NOT normal.

I know! I watched this a few weeks ago for the first time since I was a kid and I immediately said “What is up with her waist?”
