Ladies and Gentlemen, Our Backyard.

And to think, we were going to just rake those leaves right up and put them in bags.

Backyard Road

But then the Lorso decreed, “No! We shalt not rake the leaves into piles! We shall henceforth create a small city, in which there will be coffeeshops and libraries and grocery stores and a Moe’s, and whatever else the Bug doth deemeth to his liking.”

And so it was.

Sidenote: This equals HOURS of free kid entertainment and gives Mommy time to do things like get a Flickr account and blog.

I’m jealous–not only do we lack much yard, we don’t have any leaves. Well done Lorso.

Hope the flickr account worked out. I find it annoying, but effective.

That’s awesome. The Bug is one enlightened fellow. Who knows, he may be designing our cities of the future one day.

Oh Racher,
I have become such a fan of your blog. I read it as I eat my one-bowl lunch each day that I don’t have students in the room. (I catch up the next day when needed, of course.) I am bummed that you will be moving to Flikr since that site is blocked from my viewing! (Damn evil institutional firewalls that protect the innocent children from seeing things online they shouldn’t see, well mostly anyway.) Sigh.

That? Is COOL. I think that would keep me entertained for hours.
