Why I’m taking acting classes
FYI, my posts will be about Bug until he stops having diarrhea and we escape this prison house.
At lunchtime:
“Mommy, whistle.”
(I obey.)
“Now, Mommy, whistle happy.”
(I attempt, with bright eyes and bobbing head.)
“Now whistle sad.”
(Somewhat harder, but still manage to frown and pout a bit.)
“Now whistle mad!”
(Loud whistling. Fierce eyes.)
“Now, Mommy, whistle like you just heard a noise.”
(Whistle, pause, look scared, whistle softer while casting darting glances around the room.)
“Mommy, you a good whistler.”

Hah! Emotional development – check. Wait, is “just heard a noise” an emotion?
Thanks for providing me with a daily pick-me-up!
Good guess. I’m pretty sure “just heard a noise” is code for “surprised.”
you ARE a good whistler. Of course, I cant whistle, so hopefully Voldemort wont request any performances like this.
Of course, based on my family, he’ll demand a three ring circus from me and the cats instead.
