The epitome of laziness

This product is currently being hyped in baby and parenting magazines everywhere.

Turns out it’s really hard to lift a baby’s bottom three inches off the changing table and put a diaper under it.

I’m so glad there are folks working hard to solve the problems of modern parenthood.

P.S. My next post will have nothing to do with diapers. Promise.

I am completely baffled by this product. Wouldn’t you still have to lift the baby up to get the dirty diaper off? And couldn’t you achieve the same effect by just laying the clean diaper down before you lay the baby down? Bizarre. Holy Crap! I just noticed it costs $120.

i agree with both rachels…and wonder what happens if the kid pees while you’re changing him or her and the stack of diapers underneath? okay…maybe only the diaper on top.

but, still, this seems unnecessary.

oh yes, i also forgot to mention: it’s only approved for use on the floor. impractical? i think so. BUT! it comes in designer patterns!

My middle school sense of humor thinks it is really funny that Rachel wrote “Holy Crap!” when she saw the price of this particular product. :)

When you have a second child, I’m not getting you one of these…don’t care how much you want one!
